What if I'm not sure which service I need?
We will discuss your goals and services will be recommended based on your specific needs.
How long are treatments?
Physical therapy initial evaluations are 60–75 minutes, with follow-up treatments running 50–55 minutes. Laser therapy initial sessions are 45 minutes, with follow-up sessions running 20–30 minutes.
Will I be treated by a licensed physical therapist every session?
Physical therapy treatments are always with a licensed physical therapist.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No referral is necessary for laser therapy. Physical therapy has varying requirements based on your insurance. Cash-based treatments do not require a referral; however, if treatment begins without one, California law requires a signed Plan of Care from your physician to continue treatment beyond 12 sessions or 45 calendar days, whichever comes first.
Do you accept insurance?
Mullins Physical Therapy & Laser is a cash-based clinic. We are out-of-network with most insurance companies; however, we do accept Medicare and Tricare on a limited basis.
How much do treatments cost?

Do you have parking?
Yes! There is ample and convenient parking in front and in back of the building. Disabled parking and accessible entry is available from the front parking lot
Where are you located?
We are conveniently located in the heart of Mission Valley in San Diego with easy freeway access from all directions. We see patients from throughout the region including North County, East County, Beach areas and South Bay.
